I had a blog, a long time ago, when they were still called "web diaries"... it was mostly a place to work out my own thoughts, often in order to face my demons. I think that I will use this for the same purpose. I may also use this to "put an idea into google" so that somebody doing the right search can find it. My ideas may be on topics ranging from US or Guatemalan politics, the philosophical implications of countless or infinite alternate universes, linguistics, programming for the XO, just funny thoughts, etc. Also, I use the same username in various fora across the web. Oh, and I may post something here in Spanish, too.

I ask a few things of those who visit here. First, please do not break my anonymity. You may well be able to figure out who I am, and that's fine. If you happen to know me, I'd ask you to tell me that you've found my journal. But do NOT tell anyone else of your discovery, and do NOT put anything on the web which links my real name and my username. I do not want prospective employers to search on my real name and get a link to all the bad things I say about myself when I'm depressed.
